Dating apps just improve the odds over random encounters. If someone is so shallow to assign numbers, you probably don’t want them.

I met my wife 18 years ago on match. We avoided the free dating apps. We would never have met otherwise. You have to know what you are looking for.

Her ad said, “Intelligence is important.”

My ad said, “I am not looking for a maid, cook, laundress, dishwasher or sex object. I’m looking for a partner and companion…”
I also said that “Bugs Bunny is my Hero.” And that I was a non-techie that wrote software.

We both sifted through quite a few ads. It is probably worse now.

Good luck and don’t give up.
