Even in college, I thought that catcalls displayed the man’s childishness, stupidity or disrespect. Children can grow up. Stupidity can’t be fixed. Changing disrespect is like turning the Titanic — it can be done, but it is not easy.

I try to imagine myself in the position of the hero, heroine, or in one case, the poor cat.

This article portrays a reality much worse than anything I ever imagined.
