I don’t think the problem ever left. I heard the same comments by male co-workers on the 1980’s. Here is the first underlying problem:

Women risk all for sex, men risk nothing.
Equalize the risks, then things may change.

I just realized the second problem and will publish an article referring to this one in a few days (added 1 hour later).

Of course, those in power never want to give up any of it - in all parts of life.
