I fully agree that everyone needs to develop their own writing procedures. I spend less time editing and reviewing than I spend writing the original piece because you must hit the publish button sometime.

Writing papers saved my hide in college. For me, math was easy, even the graduate-level courses. Everything else was much harder.

I do recommend that you do one thing: use the “Read aloud” feature on Medium. There is no way you would have missed the really blatant typo near the end of this story if you had.
