I had this at the top of my resume: “I solve problems.” Not as a contractor, but as a permanent employee.
The computer language, database, platform, and industry did not make any difference. I never had an app fail.
Worst mistake in my career? Changing jobs for much more money.

- Nothing counts until it goes into production and works as intended. If there are unforeseen benefits, that’s even better.
- What defined my career was my impact on others as a developer and trainer.
- What I had to overcome was immaterial
