As long as you stay home. Washing hands is not the question. The question is Conflicting Rights and which one supersedes the other.

- Does your right to do what you want supersede my right to reasonable safety in a public environment?

- Do what you want at home, but once you go out your front door, you are in a public environment.

- If someone conveys the virus to you, then you convey it to me through your negligence, should you be charged with attempted murder? Same level of logic.

==> better to do something dumb, even if you are right, than kill someone if you are wrong. It's called maturity.
