When I was a computer programmer, I assumed every one would work, sooner or later.

The longest took 6 weeks to find the one problem (a field was not automatically reset to zero at startup. Easy to fix.). That program increased the company's market share 20% and ran for 18 years.

I never had a project fail from 1969 to 2015 when I retired.
