Your description of Medium is spot-on.

Medium is more like an online newspaper, with feature sections, than a traditional blog.

I write about anything that comes to mind. I don’t write for the money, except as a measure of how I am doing. If someone learns something, is entertained, or is inspired by one of my articles, then I am successful.

I do get curated occasionally.
